How are you today, my dear boys and girls? Are you happy or are you sad? Are you hungry, or are you thirsty? Let’s sing.(I’m Happy Song)

Tell me, please, how are you today?

What day is it today?

S 1: It is Friday.

T: What month is it now?

S2: It is November.

T: What season is it now?

S3: It is autumn.

T: Look at the window, what’s the weather like today?

S4: It is rainy, it is windy, It isn’t muddy, it is cloudy.

Phonetics warming-up

I see you know a lot of words and some of them are different types of food. Look at the board. This is the proverb, which corresponds with the topic of our lesson. Let’s read firstly. ^ Eat to leave not leave to eat.

Today we are going to speak about food. Let’s look at the cards, and answer my question, what is it?(cards with foods)

Then let’s the play game ”Jump”. If the word you hear is the same as the card, you jump. If it isn’t, you keep still. Are you ready? Let’s start then.

Thank you! Look at the board. There are three columns with three categories. Let’s look at the board: food, drinks and desserts. Your task is to put the words in the correct columns. Who wants to be the first?........You are welcome!

Take your sits, please. Open your CB to page 84.Look at the photo of two girls, Sally and Emma. They are talking about food what they like and what they don’t like on the menu. Listen, read and do the task.(ex 3)Are you ready? Let’s start.(track35 F &F CD 1) Dasha, read please about Emma. Thank you! Nastya, read about Sally. Thank’s, nice of you, girls! Take your pencils and let’s do ex.3.Your task is to put a tick what Emma and Sally like and a cross what Emma and Sally don’t like. But be attentive! Who is ready? Let’s check up your answers.

Put your pencils on the desk and come to me. Let’s make a circle, please. Look at the floor. You can see the words with different types of food. Your task is to choose the card, which corresponds with the first letter of your name. Look at me, firstly.

Open your grammar books to p.45.Look at ex.2.Your task is to put the words in correct order. Let’s look at the board and read the example. Open your copy books, write down the date. Who wants to go to the blackboard and write down the first sentence?

V Home assignment setting

Write down your HW. Open your WB to p.81,ex.1,2.
